The WA Mining & Engineering Expo has been highly successful, with a heritage that can be traced back 12 years to when it began its life as MINEX. Brought to you by the people that ran this hugely successful Expo for 5 big years, welcome to the new incarnation, the WA Mining & Engineering Expo 2010.

Claremont Showground lies in the heart of Perth's affluent and cosmopolitan western suburbs, known for their boutique shopping and cafe lifestyle. Located just 10 minutes from Perth’s central business district and the historic port city of Fremantle, the Showground is the perfect venue to hold the WAMEX Mining Expo. Close to the Showground, plenty of accommodation can be found in neighbouring suburbs of Subiaco, West Perth, Cottesloe and Fremantle. Claremont Showground is easily accessible by car and well-serviced by effective bus and train public transport. The Showground’s train station is within walking distance to the Pavilions and ample parking is available in and around the grounds.
