This is a real job in West Australia that we are working on with City of Melville Council.
It is an interesting job and is relevant to reconstruction projects by all councils. We will go through the job and welcome all feedback on which topics should be expanded on.
Issues with the current Roads: • Rough road due to local property construction and age… • Road failing in places due to seal thickness & water ingress… • The adjacent River occasionally floods road and pooling water needs to be drained.
Scope of Works: • Reconstruct Intersections to marry into existing conditions. • Super-elevate the Main Road with East side matching existing levels. • West side to undulate every 80m to allow creation of catchments for drainnge. • Replace all seal, kerb and west side footpath. • East kerb to be Semi-mountable.
