"As you would all be aware, I recently returned from Africa after spending over three and a half weeks climbing Mount Kenya, Building two school classrooms and a teachers house in the Watoto Bbira Orphan Village in Uganda with my daughter Brooke and her school. It was truly a life changing experience for us all on the trip and we were shocked by the poverty, famine and devastation caused through the effects from AIDS (42% of Males with AIDS, 32% of Females with AIDS and where the average age in Uganda is only 15)." Greg Gudgeon, Managing Director, AEC Systems.

"We were privileged to meet lots of lovely people and we were truly impressed by the people in the Watoto villages in Uganda where they currently support 2000 Orphans in three villages and have 99 Orphan babies in their Bullrushes baby nursery (most babies are found discarded on the streets or rubbish heaps)." Greg Gudgeon, Managing Director, AEC Systems.

Even though times are tough worldwide, we can still not forget the people and those international communities who have a daily struggle "to survive".
Like many of our clients, AEC Systems have been in the building and construction industry for over 15 years and with this in mind, AEC staff went onsite to build houses for families in Watoto orphan village in Uganda in addition to donating financially.
