What are the Webcasts...?

Webcasts for AEC Systems are a means of doing presentations without having to physically be in the same room. Essentially, you see the presenters screen and hear their voice (either by phone or voip) so it is the next best thing to being side by side.

  • You do not need to have the software (Revit, Civil 3D etc) installed.
  • The scheduled sessions below are for large groups -

Event: 'Road Reconstruction With Civil 3D' Print

Road Reconstruction is the main challenge for most Civil Designers. In this webcast, we have got some real data from Blacktown Council which involves all the typical challenges facing a designer working in a built up area:

  • Overlay of existing Roads.
  • Widening Roads at their existing grade.
  • Matching side streets and a service road'
  • Tapering medians for right hand turn lanes.
  • Intersection recon.

The data set also includes a roundabout so we can look at rebuilding this in a futures session - we need your feedback on this.

This is going to be a major presentation with a lot of preparation as we recognise how important the topic is for the majority of designers. We anticipate doing follow on sessions on all the topics mentioned. Click HERE to register.
