We know that we can do the modeling side of the job - the question is how do we approach the drawing production side of things.
In this webcast, we will look at the options for Cross Section Production as well as Profiles, Pipes and the other components of a Civil Engineering Plan set. We will use the plans production tool to generate the DWG sheets with split profiles and the 'North Symbol' aligned correctly.
Alignment Masking will be covered to show how intersections are tidied up and the feature line code sets will be covered to show how specific linetypes are assigned to specific codes.
On top of all this, we will highlight one of the most useful hacks - editing text heights in multiple styles. This in conjunction with editing AutoCAD text styles and layer parameters will allow us to control the automated DWG production standards from the software.
Most of this has come from user feedback and we will welcome all suggestions, questions and feedback on this to help continue to improve standards.
A 'scratch pad' PDF file will be sent to all registered attendees so everyone can print it out to take notes on relevant screen captures during the session.
(if anyone has any topics they are specifically interested in for this session, please post to our online forums http://forums.aecsystems.com.au/ )
